Podiatry

Most of us will suffer with painful feet at some time in our lives. Sadly we tend to ignore our feet and their problems and often hide them in poorly fitting shoes. This can cause long term harm, not only to our feet, but to our joints and posture. A podiatrist (or chiropodist) is qualified to diagnose and treat a variety of foot conditions and will give you advice on how best to care for your feet.

We can offer a variety of treatments which include simple nail cut appointments, routine foot care such as nail conditions, corns and callus, skin conditions, fungal infections and foot & heel pain.

Also available are more specialised treatments, Verrucae treatment using homeopathic or surgical options, Diabetic assessment monitoring & care, Biomechanical assessment and supply of insoles & corrective orthotics, acupuncture for relief of arthritic & soft tissue symptoms. Please see the podiatry leaflet for more detailed information.

Initial appointments include a full foot assessment and foot care advice.
